Second suspect in grocery store robberies identified

Robert Frazier

Police have named a suspect sought in two grocery store robberies and are asking for help finding him.

A Richmond County Sheriff’s Office release said Robert Frazier, 32, is believed to be involved in holdups at Kroger, 3128 Deans Bridge Road, on April 16 and Bi-Lo, 3457 Peach Orchard Road, on April 17.

In both cases, the men demanded cash at a customer service desk.

Craig Eugene Roberts II was arrested April 18 on two counts of robbery by intimidation after police traced information left at a crime scene.

They said Frazier, who was identified as the second suspect Thursday, will face the same charges. Police said he is possibly driving a silver 1998 Ford F-150 Flareside truck with South Carolina tag DZL 620 that was used at the Kroger robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (706) 821-1020 or (706) 821-1080.
