Money, hair stolen from beauty supply store

An Augusta beauty supply store owner alerted the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday after cash and more than $6,000 in hair was stolen.

According to an incident report, someone entered Roba Beauty Supply, 2416 Windsor Spring Road, overnight Wednesday and fled with $150, the cash register and 63 packaged hair pieces from behind the counter.

The reporting officer observed pry marks to a rear door, but the owner was unable to verify if the damage was new or from a previous burglary.
