Before she reached her front door, two armed men approached her from behind and hit her in the head with a handgun, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

One took a handgun from her waistband, along with her purse, and a money order from the gas station.

The men fled in a tan SUV and were last seen driving north on Merry Street about 1:20 p.m. Thursday.

The two suspects were described as black men in their mid-20s. One was wearing a gray shirt and jeans. The other was wearing a plaid shirt and jeans.

A third suspect, the driver, was described as a black man in his mid-20s with long dreads.
