A woman found several of her purses in a secondhand store Friday and discovered her brother had sold them after taking them from her home, a Richmond County Sheriff’s report said.
Lucille Marie Thompson said she was in a store on Fifth Street and spotted six of her purses on the shelves. She told the owner that the pocketbooks belonged to her and went home to check. She discovered they were missing and called police, the report said.
Thompson returned to the store and the owner showed her receipts from October. The purses were returned to her.
