Woman accused of ramming car she believed her boyfriend was driving

An Augusta woman faces four counts of aggravated assault after ramming a car, police said.

Shalonna Wadley, 28, was driving in the 2400 block of Tobacco Road about 1 p.m. Saturday when she passed a vehicle that she thought had her boyfriend inside with another woman.

Wadley hit the vehicle from the side and the rear with her car until it was forced off the road, authorities said.

Police said Wadley then realized the driver was a man who looked like her boyfriend and was driving a car similar to his. Terrie Mitchell, 47, his wife, Tamika, 36, and their two children. ages 12 and 5, were unharmed.

Wadley was also charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license.
