Alarm company reports stolen equipment, furniture

Police are investigating a burglary at a Wylds Road alarm company, where more than $38,000 worth of furniture and equipment was stolen.

Deputies were called to Saber Alarm Co., 2815 Wylds Road, around 1:30 p.m. Monday after an employee found a broken deadbolt lock.

According to a police report, the estimated value of the stolen furniture and equipment was about $11,000; missing miscellaneous surveillance and alarm equipment was worth about $27,000.

The company told investigators the burglary occurred between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 11 and Monday.

Investigators are seeking surveillance video of the incident.
