North Augusta offering $1,000 reward in homicide

North Augusta Public Safety is offering a $1,000 reward for information on a September homicide.

On the morning of Sept. 29 police were called to Ridgeview Manor Apartments on Bradleyville Road, where they found Travis Smith, 28, of North Augusta dead from a gunshot wound.

Smith and his girlfriend had been standing outside an apartment around 2:50 a.m. when two men in hoodies approached and fired a single shot before running away.
