3 sought in Hepzhibah debit card theft

Richmond County investigators are asking for assistance in their search for three men caught on surveillance cameras using a debit card stolen from a mailbox.

Investigator Dan Ferrel said the debit card was stolen from a mailbox in the 4000 block of Bridle Path Drive in Hephzibah while the resident was out of town. The resident returned home July 24 and found the card missing and an opened envelope containing the new PIN.

Three men were seen using the card at the ATM at Wells Fargo’s Miracle Mile Branch on Mike Padgett Highway on July 22.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1020.
