Augusta thief breaks into car, steals Bible

A 54-year-old Augusta woman reported the theft of a Bible to Richmond County deputies Monday.

According to an incident report, the victim’s vehicle was parked at Medical Computer Business Services, 1125 Troupe St., when she discovered her window had been broken about 3:30 p.m.

Police said the only item missing from the vehicle was a brown Bible.
