Man wanted in connection with stabbing death arrested in Houston

Carl Garland Logan arrested Friday in Houston, TX. He is wanted in connection with the stabbin death of Anthony Olivet.

A man wanted in connection with a March 19 stabbing death on Fleming Drive was arrested in Houston Friday afternoon, police said.

Carl Garland Logan was named a suspect in the stabbing death of Anthony Olivet, of the 2800 block of Fleming Drive, a day after Olivet was found dead in his home.

Logan, who is from Danville, Va., also had warrants stemming from an earlier stabbing there, although the victim lived, police said.

Logan was arrested by the Houston Police Department on unrelated charges and will be extradited to Georgia at some point, Richmond County Sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser said.
