A youth who has been linked to the Friday death of 31-year-old Jennifer Albright in Burke County, Ga., had a detention hearing Tuesday.
The 10-year-old was sent to Augusta Youth Development Campus and is being represented by Pete Theodocion. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Pittman Morris and presided over by Judge Willie Saunders.
Albright was found dead in her Midville home with a single gunshot wound. Three children who were in the home were unharmed.
Officers responded to what they thought was a home invasion, but it was later determined a “domestic situation involving juveniles,” Burke County Sheriff Greg Coursey said.
The sheriff’s office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation investigated.
