Medical equipment, jewelry reported stolen in Augusta

A machine valued at $50,000, similar to one used for electroencephalograms, was stolen from an Augusta building, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office report.

Nassim Nabaui, 26, of the 2000 block of Reserve Lane, told deputies she left for the holidays at 1 p.m. Dec. 23. When she returned at 2:45 p.m. Monday, she noticed her Endeavor Neuro Monitor was missing, as well as a laptop, $800 cash, a diamond ring, earrings and an Omega watch, the report says.

The officers noted that her back window was broken and the building was ransacked.

The victim is listed as Neurophysiology Associates, of Athens, Ga. The total estimated value of the stolen items was $56,800.
