Two shootings were reported Sunday, but neither victim appeared to be seriously hurt.
A man was grazed in the arm by a bullet shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Essie McIntyre Boulevard, police said.
The shooting victim, whose name and age were not immediately available, was taken to Medical College of Georgia Hospital, where he was being treated for injuries not considered to be life-threatening, according to Richmond County dispatch.
Dispatch received the call at 10:55 p.m. It was the second shooting call Richmond County deputies responded to Sunday night, with the first being a 19-year-old man who was shot in the leg about 9 p.m.
The man was in a yard in the 2400 block of Cunningham Drive when he was shot, Richmond County sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Logue said at the scene.
The victim was taken to Medical College of Georgia Hospital, where he was being treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, Logue said.
No information on the shooter or what led up to the incident was immediately available. Richmond County dispatch received the call at 9:03 p.m.
