Augusta man's shop burglarized while he's in jail

An Augusta man’s shop was burglarized while he was in jail.

A Richmond County Sheriff’s Office report says that Arnold Lee Moss, 54, called officers when he returned to his home in the 3600 block of Sturnidae after spending a little more than three weeks in jail. He stated the burglar entered his shop by breaking the window on the front door.

The thief stole a 350 Vortex motor, a socket set, two heavy-duty floor jacks, an air compressor, a generator and an automobile transmission.

Moss said he was incarcerated from Oct. 12 to Nov. 4.
