Bond was denied Friday for one of three suspects accused of taking part in a drive-by shooting that left a man with six bullet wounds.
Raymond Wallace, 30, must await possible indictment and trial in jail, where he has been confined since his arrest several weeks ago. Wallace, Xavier Robinson, 20, and Derrick Jackson, 22, are each charged with aggravated assault and weapons charges in a July 5 drive-by shooting on Jonathan Circle.
Nathan Simpson, 28, was shot several times by two men who got out of an SUV that night with handguns and fired, said Assistant District Attorney Grant Usry.
Wallace faces additional charges of battery, trespass and third-degree cruelty to children, accused of punching his girlfriend repeatedly in front of their child, Usry said.
