Aiken County authorities looking for shooting suspect

Dominique Roscelo Johnson will face charges of attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

Aiken County police are searching for a suspect in a Tuesday afternoon shooting in Nicholson Village.

Police were called to Pine Street near Main Drive about 3:40 p.m. and found the unidentified victim with a gunshot wound to the hip. He told police he was in an argument with Dominique Roscelo Johnson, 24, and was attempting to walk away when Johnson shot him. Johnson was last seen leaving the area in a tan Cadillac.

The victim is in stable condition at Georgia Regents Medical Center.

Johnson will face charges of attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
