Sheriff's office hunting for 2 most wanted

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for two of its most wanted suspects, who are considered armed and dangerous.

Police said Marquese Demario Parrish, 22, of Kennedy Drive, and Darrell Fitzgerald Hill Jr., also 22, of Richwood Road, are suspects in the armed robbery and shooting of a man at Richmond Villa apartments Feb. 7.

A third suspect, Kevin Maurice Hanna, 23, of Hephzibah, already has been charged in the crime and remains in the Richmond County jail.

Lt. Lewis Blanchard said the men “committed a brazen armed robbery” that day at the busy apartment complex.

Police believe the suspects are still in the Augusta area, and officers are working with other local agencies to find them.

The sheriff’s office is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Blanchard said anyone caught harboring the fugitives will be “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

The two men face charge of aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Parrish also faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
