Armed robber holds up Beech Island business

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding information after a Satur­day night holdup at a Family Dollar store in Beech Island.

According to a news release, employees said a man came in about 8:15 p.m., pointed a gun and demanded money. He ran from the store after taking the money.
