Richmond County authorities are looking for a suspect after a burglary in which three handguns were stolen.
George Anderson, of Augusta, told deputies that two .40-caliber semi-automatic pistols and a .357-caliber revolver were stolen from his Brendell Drive home between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, an incident report said.
The three guns were valued at $600 each.
Anderson alerted police when he returned home to find his bedroom lights
on and his drawers ransacked.
Deputies noticed the front bedroom window was open with the screen cut.
Anderson told police that his back door was not locked, the report said.
