A former employee at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia indicted on charges that he sexually molested patients pleaded not guilty to the charges Thursday.
After Bernard Edwards, 56, was arraigned in Richmond County Superior Court, he was taken into custody on a grand jury arrest warrant returned last week.
Edwards is accused of aggravated sexual battery, sexual battery against a hospital patient and simple battery. The victims were patients at the children’s hospital. Edwards was a mental health technician. He was fired Jan. 8 for gross misconduct.
