Man breaks into trailer for bath and nap

A man thought to be homeless broke into a trailer, took a bath and treated himself to an afternoon nap on the couch Thursday.

Police responded to the 3200 block of Deans Bridge Road about 2:30 p.m. where the resident of the trailer said he found a white male asleep on the sofa, according to a Richmond County incident report.

Between bathing and napping, the man ransacked a bedroom closet, but nothing was taken.

The suspect, described as a balding, 50-year-old wearing a red T-shirt and black pants, was also discovered in the trailer earlier in the day by the resident, who told the man not to come back.

The sleeping man has been seen in the neighborhood before, the report said.
