Augusta man charged after shooting at car

A 25-year-old man has been charged after he shot at a car with his 5-year-old daughter and her mother inside on Dec. 20.

According to Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser, Travis Corley and his child’s mother, also 25, were arguing at his home in the 500 block of Artmus Street after she picked up their child. Corley then pulled out a gun as they drove away and shot at the vehicle.

Corley was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a first offender, terroristic acts and threats, threatening a witness and two counts of aggravated assault.
