Sticky Fingers closed this week

Sticky Fingers Smokehouse has closed in the Augusta Exchange shopping center.

The chain barbecue restaurant officially closed its doors at 277 Robert C Daniel Jr. Parkway on May 6, according to a sign posted on the door.

The restaurant had been open since 2006.

Messages left for a corporate spokesperson were not immediately returned.

The Atlanta-based company operates 16 other Sticky Finger restaurants in North and South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
