Home textile retailer Anna’s Linens will lift the veil on its new Augusta store Aug. 15.
The home goods and décor company based in Costa Mesa, Calif., is opening at 3412 Wrightsboro Road, within Augusta Square shopping center.
Anna’s Linens sells bedding, bath and kitchen accessories, window coverings, home textiles, and furnishings.
The family-owned and -operated company has nearly 320 stores across the country and in Puerto Rico. The closest store to Augusta is in Columbia.
“As we continue our national expansion, we have identified a tremendous opportunity to provide a unique shopping experience that is missing within this wonderful community,” said Alan Gladstone, Anna’s Linens’ founder and CEO.
At nearly 12,000 square feet, the Augusta site is one of the chain’s largest stores and replaces a storefront formerly occupied by Rugged Wearhouse.
About 15 employees have been hired for the store.
Anna’s Linens was founded in 1987.
The company plans to open 11 stores in the U.S. this year.
The store will join Ross, TJ Maxx, a Dots fashion store and other retailers in Augusta Square.
