Arrested school custodian Reginald Price fired, superintendent says

A C.T. Walker Traditional Magnet School custodian arrested last week on sex charges involving two girls at two schools was fired Monday, according to Richmond County Superintendent Frank Roberson.

Reginald Levern Price, 44, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of felony sexual battery, jail records show. School Safety and Security Chief Alfonzo Williams obtained arrest warrants after investigating allegations that a 13-year-old girl was touched inappropriately this month. The department also reopened an investigation into allegations from another 13-year-old girl from January 2012 while Price was working at Murphey Middle School.

On Monday, Roberson said he wanted to wait for a detailed report from the incident before releasing details about the 2012 investigation or why Price was transferred to C.T. Walker.
