Two robbed at gunpoint Thursday in Richmond County

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man accused of robbing two victims at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

Approximately 1:50 p.m., Samuel Williams and Deandre Clark were driving on the 2800 block of Thomas Lane when an unknown suspect “came out from behind a tree and pointed a pistol at them,” according to an incident report from the RCSO.

The suspect approached the vehicle and demanded “everything you’ve got” from the two victims, while pointing a silver pistol at them. Williams said he turned over his wallet, left the vehicle, and ran east towards Jennings Road. Clark also left the vehicle and followed Williams, the report stated.
