$3,000 in electronics reported stolen from Augusta home

A burglar got away with more than $3,000 in electronics Thursday night.

Chanel Vonte Sheppard, of the 3700 block of Fair­ington Drive, told deputies she came home at 8:30 a.m. Friday to find the items missing, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s report.

Among the items missing were video games, three flat-panel HD TVs, four video game consoles and jewelry. Police could not find evidence of a forced entry at the home.
