Air conditioner stolen from Augusta home

An air conditioner valued at $2,500 was reportedly stolen from an Augusta rental house.

Gordon H. Courtney of Aiken told Richmond County deputies that someone cut the copper lines to the air conditioner and took it from the property in the 2600 block of Parkway Drive sometime between Nov. 30 and Sunday afternoon, according to a sheriff’s report.

The property is owned by Cooper City Real Estate of Atlanta, the report says.
