Gunshot victim crashes into SC hospital lobby

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — A pickup truck carrying a man suffering from a gunshot wound crashed into the lobby of the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Authorities say two people were inside the pickup when it crashed into the lobby of the hospital’s main building about 3 a.m. Monday.

No patients or employees inside the hospital were hurt.

Officers say a man inside the truck had been shot in the leg and wasn’t able to tell them much about the shooting. Police say the driver also refused to cooperate. Sheriff’s deputies say that person has been arrested on unrelated charges.
