An Augusta woman found her apartment was burglarized after she received an anonymous call stating people were making meth inside.
The 51-year-old victim told authorities she was on a break at work about 1:30 a.m. Friday when she received a call from a person stating three men were inside her Parrish Road apartment making meth.
The caller warned she would be arrested if she didn’t come home.
According to an incident report, the woman arrived home to find someone had entered the rear of her apartment and fled with her laptop.
Authorities also noted a black rolling suitcase, a black glove and telephone number were left sitting by the door.
The victim told officers that the items did not belong to her.
Officers did not find any signs of forced entry.
