Salvation Army store opens in North Augusta

Salvation Army Area Commander Maj. Tony Perez was on hand for the grand opening of the new Salvation Army Family Store in North Augusta Friday morning .

Perez says money generated by the new 10,000-square-foot store will go towards toward helping people in the community.

“Individuals who are homeless, who are hungry, who need rehab through our free rehab center, they will be able to have a new lease on life because of some of the resources coming from this store,” Perez said.
