Good deeds

The Young Agents of Georgia donated $30,000 to the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation. Shown are David Bagwell, of Bagwell Insurance Services, and Jo Maypole, president/CEO of the foundation.

Wells Fargo managers and team members chose 19 nonprofit organizations in the area for grants in the Days of Giving program.

These groups got $1,000 checks: Action Ministries, Arts and Heritage Center of North Augusta, Augusta Alzheimer’s Association, Augusta Mini-Theatre Community Arts, Augusta Rescue Mission, Augusta Resource Center on Aging Inc., Christ Community Health Services, Community in Schools of Burke County, Dance Augusta Inc., Fisher House Foundation, GA Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Augusta chapter, Georgia-Carolina Council of Boy Scouts of America, Golden Harvest Food Bank, Hope House, Interfaith Hospitality Network of Augusta, Rape Crisis and Sexual Assault Services, University Health Services Inc., RHEMA Connections, Ronald McDonald House and The Lydia Project.

In addition, Wells Fargo presented the United Way of Augusta with a check for $20,000.
