Club Car holding global meeting in Augusta

Club Car will hold its three-day global sales meeting in Augusta beginning Tuesday.

The meeting rotates to Augusta every few years to give more Augusta-based associates an opportunity to attend parts of the meeting, company spokesman Bill Bryant said.

About 175 members of the electric vehicle company’s global sales and marketing staff will gather to review results from 2011 and go over plans for 2012, Bryant said.

Robert Zafari, the senior vice president and president for parent company Ingersoll Rand’s Industrial Technologies Sector, is scheduled to attend.
