Was the City reimbursed for the use of the men and equipment? What will we do next when "Johnny Can't Read"?

There is nothing to

There is nothing to reimburse. The firefighters are on duty getting paid anyway. Events such as this can still provide training and make sure that equipment is working properly. In the event of an emergency they just pack it up and go. Nothing to lose and everything to gain is the optimistic way of looking at this.
