The Augusta Museum of History is reducing the cost of admission in August with its Dollar Dog Days of Summer.
Throughout the month, admission to the museum is reduced to $1 per person. The price also includes the Hunt for History, a self-guided scavenger hunt through the museum for children of all ages.
Current exhibits include Augusta Story; Local Legends, an exhibit about Augusta’s celebrities; and Blast From the Past, which includes everything from a bison to fossils.
The museum, located at 560 Reynolds St., is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit the museum’s website at www.augustamuseum.org or call (706) 722-8454.
