- Because of a reporter's error, a story on page 1A of Tuesday's editions of The Augusta Chronicle omitted part of the proposed breakdown on how the Augusta Commission would spend proceeds of a Municipal Option Sales Tax, or MOST. The story should have included 17 percent, or $6 million, for fire protection.

- The Associated Press misidentified James Henry Williams, the victim in a fatal 2002 Augusta shooting. The Georgia Supreme Court ruled Monday that the man convicted in Mr. Williams' death should get a new trial.

The Chronicle regrets the errors.
