RAVE TO Lynn and Teresa who work evening shift X-ray at Doctors Hospital. They went out of their way to help my family and we want them to know it did not go unnoticed!
THE REV. LOWERY'S remarks were tacky. Besides the fact that they were racially charged, they were insulting to the president who, people seem to forget, is half white. As our first BIRACIAL president, hopefully he will convince America that it's finally time for ALL races to move forward.
BRING BACK THE Lockhorns ... or expand Bill Kirby's column.
WHO ARE THE IDIOTS nailing white boards/sticks onto telephone poles with religious phrases? Would someone please remove those boards/sticks from along Wrightsboro Road from Trinity Hospital leading to Druid Park Avenue in front of Paine College and along 15th Street?
WHY CAN'T PEOPLE realize that to shorten the bus routes and riders shorts local businesses overall? People can't afford certain jobs because if the buses can't get there, people cannot afford taxis and other private rides to be worth some jobs.
I'D JUST LIKE to say I think the motorcycle police officers in Augusta and Richmond County need to be done away with. What a bunch of cowboys. Oh, and not to mention you all look hilarious in your fancy little motorcycle boots and your skin-tight pants.
Retired Servicemen, Chuck and Greg, would like to say thanks to the young couple (with two small children) who surprised them by paying for their breakfast at the Huddle House on Fort Gordon the morning of Jan. 21. God bless you!
I DON'T KNOW why there are complaints about the new comic, Argyle Sweater. The printing is so small most people cannot read it.
RAVE FOR Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors in south Augusta.
UGA CHANCELLOR Erroll Davis said he "is committed to cutting costs. But ... not to cut ... the future of education." At the same time he spent $7 million on advertising. Those regents think just like D.C. politicians.
I HOPE ALL black Americans stand up and oppose the ghetto behavior of Jay Z and Young Jeezy in Washington, D.C. Their racist and vulgar rants were despicable. President Obama does not represent this part of the black community.
