Talent takes center stage for Sunday Night Live

Event held on first Sundays at Kroc Center

Sunday Night Live, a monthly showcase of talents, began in December at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.

The next showcase is 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3. Doors open at 4 p.m. at 1833 Broad St. Admission is $10, with some proceeds benefiting the Kroc Center and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Christian comedian Tommy Ingram’s company, Phokus Entertainment, is working with Za’Nee Entertainment to bring in headlining acts to complement local performers.

Ingram said the goal is to provide an outlet for people to share their talents and is open to all ages, races and genres.

“People might not want to go to a church holding an event like this, but everyone enjoys coming to the Kroc Center,” Ingram said.

People interested in performing should contact Ingram at (706) 306-9849. Performers must share a positive message, he said.
