This Halloween season – and beyond that, as well – tour guide Michael Wolff wants to treat you to some tales of Augusta’s ghosts, legends, history and more.
Wolff runs the Augusta Ghost Trolley, which is offering tours with guest Michael Thornton on Oct. 30-31; Ghost Hunting 101 tours on Nov. 1; and Edgar Allan Poe Tribute tours with magician Chad Crews on Nov. 2. All tours begin at 7 and 9 p.m. and require reservations. The Oct. 31 tour will wrap up with a Victorian-era seance led by Thornton, a mentalist and paranormal entertainer.
Tours leave from The Book Tavern, 936 Broad St., and make stops at the Old Medical College of Georgia, the Haunted Pillar and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church cemetery with local lore shared along the journey. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for ages 5-12. Call (706) 814-5333 or visit augustaghosttrolley.com.
Wolff said tour offerings continue year-round with various themes, including Christmas, such as Desserts With the Spirits, the Magic of Santa, and a new tour – A Christmas Scare-ol.
