Rev. Charles G. Adams will preach a revival at Mount Canaan Baptist Church in Trenton, S.C., next week.
Adams was cited twice by "Ebony" magazine as one of the nation’s 15 greatest black preachers and one of the top 100 most influential black Americans.
Adams, pastor of Hartford Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit, also taught at Harvard Divinity School as the William and Lucille Nickerson Professor of the Practice of Ethics and Ministry. The pastor has been awarded twelve honorary doctorates from colleges and universities; has spoken before the United Nations, and has published several sermons.
