Man arrested in Broad Street business robbery

The man suspected of robbing a Broad Street business in June is in police custody.

Police were called to Family Dollar, 1991 Broad St., around 8 p.m. June 24 after a man had demanded cash at gunpoint from an employee.

Demetrick Davis, 34, was booked into the Richmond County Jail Wednesday on charges of armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of the crime in connection to the robbery.
