Blind man robbed in his Augusta home, police say

A blind man was robbed in his home Augusta Monday afternoon, police said.

A 49-year-old man told deputies a man named “Bo” and another man came to his home in the 1700 block of Champagne Avenue around 3 p.m., according to a Richmond County sheriff’s report.

He said that because he is blind, the men took his wallet, a Dell laptop docking station and $325 from his house while he was there.
