Abilene Baptist Church will hold its second Great Easter Egg Drop on April 19 at the Merchants Association of Columbia County Fairgrounds.

A helicopter will drop 40,000 eggs filled with candy onto the fairgrounds at noon. There will be several drop zones for different age groups and a new drop zone for special-needs children.

An event before the egg drop will kick off at 10 a.m. with inflatables, face painting, games and live music. Free food will be provided for the first 3,000 children.

Guests should pre-register. More information is available at www.myabilene.org.
