Women's conference planned

  • Follow Your Faith

The inaugural Women’s Community Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Kroc Center, 1833 Broad St. The theme of the conference is Reclaiming the Woman Within, and its mission is to move “beyond the four walls of the church to promote unity and strength in our community,” said its organizer, the Rev. Patrice Oates.

“Our goal and aim of the conference is to empower women to walk out their God-ordained purpose and remind them that they are more than just lipstick, pumps and perfume,” she said. “God has given us a mandate to fulfill and a legacy to leave.”

Psalm 111 "reverend is His Name". What's the price tag on

this "woman's conference". Are there books, tapes, CD's, signed autographs. Give us a break. Warmed over Biblical principles for profit. The selling of religion in the Name Of God. $$$$$$ Can't learn it is the holy sanctuary, but the Kroc will do the trick.
