The Rev. Walter Strawther, the pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church of Aiken, will speak at a 95th anniversary celebration of the Aiken NAACP.

Heavenly duo

The Heavenly Harp duo, featuring harpists Karin and Joy Gunderson, will be in concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 961 Trail Ridge Road, Aiken.

Dixie Echoes

The Dixie Echoes Quartet, of Pensacola, Fla., will appear in concert at Bethesda Baptist Church on Friday, Sept. 20.
