Rose Sunday

On Sunday, organist Keith Shafer will play his 30th Rose Sunday Concert since being appointed the director of music at St. Paul's Church in 1983.

The free concert begins at 4 p.m. at the church, 605 Reynolds St., and will be followed by a reception in Tyler Hall. Child care will be available.

The annual concert on Rose Sunday marks the fourth Sunday of Lent and the mid-point of the season.

The name refers to rose-colored vestments used in some churches to mark the occasion. Call (706) 724-2485 for more information.
