WHAT: An annual Mardi Gras dinner party, dance and auction raises money to combat hunger in Augusta.

WHEN: 7 p.m. Feb. 9

WHERE: The River Room of Saint Paul’s Church, 605 Reynolds St.

THE EVENT: The annual fundraiser has raised more than $50,000 to support local food pantries and soup kitchens, according to the Outreach Committee of Saint Paul’s Church. At this year’s dance, the music of the Paul Roberts All Star Band will be featured again by popular demand.
