Ron Blackwood, of Ron Blackwood Management, wrote in an e-mail that the performance planned for 6 p.m. at First Assembly of God, 328 May Ave., was canceled because the church was without electricity.

The concert will not be rescheduled, according to the church.

Since 1982, Carman, the Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist, has released two dozen contemporary Christian music albums for adults and children.
