Church plans Father's Day program

  • Follow Your Faith

Father’s Day celebrations at Abilene Baptist Church include two events based on the movie Courageous.

At 6:30 p.m. Sunday, the church will offer a free screening of the film, a Christian drama produced by Georgia’s own Sherwood Pictures.

The following Sunday, the church’s 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service features a special guest - Ken Bevel, a pastor and actor who portrayed police officer Nathan Hayes in the film. He is also known for his role as firefighter Michael Simmons in the movie Fireproof.

Abilene Baptist Church is at 3917 Washington Road, Martinez.
