Adoption agency to hold open house

An open house for Bethany Christian Services, a private adoption agency, will be held Tuesday in Augusta.

The office opened as a new satellite location for the Atlanta-based Bethany Christian Services of Georgia last summer. It recently moved into the old parsonage of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church on Lumpkin Road, said Tammy Hollingsworth, a regional adoption specialist with Bethany.

The open house will show off the new location and provide information about the agency’s services, including domestic infant adoption, international adoption, older-child adoption through the state of Georgia, and pregnancy counseling.

The open house is 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at 2374 Lumpkin Road. Call (706) 496-2669 or see bethany.org/augusta for more information.
